HYPROMELLOSE-P®️  is ocular solution instillation - preparation with a protective, epithelizing, disinfecting and moisturizing effect containing hypromellose (5,0 mg in 1 ml of solution) and Dexpanthenol.

The preparation can be used by adults, adolescents and children. 

ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (hypromellose) forms a temporary protective film on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva, thus moisturizing the outer surface of the eye and serving as a substitute for insufficient tear production.

Dexpanthenol (vitamin from group B) contributes to the accelerated renewal of cells on the surface of the cornea (epithelialization).

HYPROMELLOSE-P IS INTENDED FOR:

• Dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), for example Sjogren's syndrome, with small scratches on the cornea, after small bodies fall into the conjunctival sac or after eye operations. 
• Provides relief for mild eye irritations that are not of infectious origin. 
• Eliminates the feeling of "dryness" of the eyes. 
• lt also helps to relieve unpleasant sensations (stinging, burning) accompanying mild eye irritations caused by wind, dust, cigarette smoke, polluted air, contact lenses, etc. 
• To reduce eye fatigue caused by long-term reading, driving a motor vehicle, watching a TV screen or a computer monitor. 

POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF USE:

Dosage is individual, usually 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day in the conjunctival sac of the eye.  However, 1-2 drops can be applied every hour as needed. 

The use:

Unscrew the protective cap, tilt your head slightly, turn the bottle upside down and squeeze the plastic bottle to drip the prescribed number of drops into the lower conjunctival sac.  

The amount of applied solution depends on the method of use, instill or rinse the affected eye with the solution as needed.  

In case of inflammation of the eyelashes, the solution can also be used for poultices.  

During application, the dropper should not touch the eye or eyelashes.  

Finally, the cap must be screwed tightly to prevent possible contamination.  

Immediately after instilling the preparation, blurred vision may appear, which could make it difficult to drive motor vehicles and operate machinery. It is recommended to perform these activities no earlier than 20 minutes after applying the preparation. 

Soft contact lenses cannot be worn at the same time as using the product. Before application, it is necessary to remove them and put them back on no later than 30 minutes after using the product. 

If you also use other eye preparations, consult your eye doctor about the appropriateness of their simultaneous use. However, it is generally recommended that an interval of at least five minutes be observed between the application of other eye preparations.

Use the opened package within 28 days.

Active substance:

Hypromellosum (hypromellose) 5.0 mg in 1 ml of solution

Dexpanthenolum (dexpanthenol)

Excipients:

Benzalkonii chloridum (benzalkonium chloride), Natrii chloridum (sodium chloride), Dinatrii edetas dihydricus (disodium edetane dihydrate), Aqua ad iniectabilia (water for injections)

WARNING:

The preparation must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the individual components and when wearing soft contact lenses at the same time.

After opening the bottle, can be used for 28 days.

Store at temperatures of 5-25 ° C.

Protect from direct sunlight.  

Keep out of reach of children.  

Store in the original package.  

Close tightly after use and store in an upright position.
